I just wanted to send a short blip here. Some dear friends of ours, Carl and Mary (and their three beautiful kids) have moved here this weekend from CO and will be staying with us until they can get into a home of their own, which should only be just a few days. I’m so excited to have them here! We’ve wanted them to live here for some time now but didn’t want to keep pressuring them, so we left it alone… lo and behold… HERE THEY ARE!!!
So, anywho! That’s what’s going on! Carl is here now and Mary will be here by Tuesday-ish with the kids!! Be praying with us that they get into their future home quickly… I know they will be SO ready to have their OWN home, with their OWN things in it, and their OWN beds!!! ::hugs:: Thanks guys!!

Clearly mothers or… really… women in all forms get ridiculed for SOMETHING. If you have only ONE child, because of whatEVER reason, you get asked when you’re going to give said child a sibling. If you have MANY children, you get asked when you’re going to STOP giving your children siblings. I get asked ridiculous questions by weirdos strangers ALL the time… it’s unbelievable.
Where do these people come off saying such absurd things to perfect strangers anyway? I mean, I can see your mother saying something like that to you, “When are you going to stop having children, dear?” or the opposite, “When are you going to give little Bobby a sibling?” But a stranger? What goes through someone’s head to ASK these questions? Say the things they do? And feel good about it?
I’ll never forget this one guy, it is forever BURNED into my memory, I was walking into Walmart with my four kiddos and my bun in the oven and he sees the kids, counts them, is walking to his car with his son, looks me dead in the eye and says, “That’s enough mom…”
Whoa! What? Seriously? Who the HECK are YOU?! I’m glad you have an opinion and all… but sheesh… you don’t have to TELL me it. Ouch, man. And what an example you are setting for your son there. “It’s okay to tell people rude things and possibly hurt their feelings.” Ouch, ouch, ouch. ::sigh::
The same goes for Breastfeeding and other things that we women do as women, wives, mothers and humans in general. I pity we women. Seriously. We put up with a lot. I love you other women… seriously… and support your decisions to have NONE, ONE or MANY children!!!! Go Moms!!!!
And for your daily dose of Snarkyness— I just love These … Enjoy!!!

This was WHILE she was crowned and I had stopped for a breath between contractions! It hurt SOOOO bad!!! Look at how much I’m sweating! I can’t believe how much work LABOR is!!!! Man oh man! So, enjoy the picture that Mr. Evil took!
Laugh away!!!! By the way, RIGHT after he took this, I smiled and said, “You’re a funny man….” The nurse and midwife got a huge kick out of that… I maintained my sense of humor… even with a baby’s head halfway out of me. I *AM* superwoman. ::snort::

So, I weighed last week and low and behold, I was 199 pounds. Unbelievable. I *SO* don’t feel 200 pounds people. I don’t feel like I *look* 200 pounds. Where is it? My butt isn’t huge, my arms aren’t that flabby, my belly is getting flatter by the day… the only place that looks unreasonably huge is my thighs, of course… where I always store my extra fat. Ugh. Anyways. I have weighed about every other day since then and now am stalled out at 195.8~
BUT, we have been eating rather not so healthy lately. We had Emma’s birthday party over the weekend and ate out over the weekend (Taco Bell… ugh… ya gotta love the carbs and calories!!!); it was just a junk filled weekend… and a LONG weekend at that.
So, this week I will be spending my time focusing on eating healthier- FUEL foods, and upping my WATER again, I’ve been a bit dehydrated, and I don’t want to lose my milk supply! I’m sure my milk has *something* to do with my weight, but surely not enough to add a significant amount of weight. So, I have to come to terms with the fact that this is FAT and I have to lose it.
I still don’t feel up to starting a workout yet. Running up and down the stairs a million times a day, chasing the twins, feeding everyone, changing everyone, bathing everyone, taking trash out, and caring for an infant feel like enough of a workout already. At least for now. I don’t need another *me*, one is enough, but I *could* use some more energy and a little less ache. Otherwise, I’m good.
Anywho… getting back on track and trying to stay on top of my weight gain/loss. Thanks for cheerleading me on, gals!!! I *Can* do this. I have a lot of weight to lose, but I *can* do this. I’m not on any kind of “schedule”, I just want to reach my goal… eventually. I’d rather it be sooner than later, but I’m not really in a rush. I’d rather lose it the right way and have it stay off than lose it too fast and gain even MORE in the long run… I’ve had that happen before… it’s not fun.
